There are several great apps out there but my hands-down favorite app to watermark photos AND videos on my iPhone is the iWatermark + Watermark App.
An App To Watermark Photos That Does It All
There are 4 things the iWatermark + Watermark app can do that make this app INDISPENSABLE in branding my photos.
1) It watermarks photos with my image logo from my camera roll. (Some options for getting your logo from your computer to your smartphone – email, Dropbox, iCloud, Drive, Google Photos, Messages app [Mac], AirDrop [Mac], or even grabbing it from your website in Safari [iPhone]).
2) I can save as MANY logos and variations of my logo as I want for future watermarking (for serial hustlers, this is key🔑).
3) The app allows you to batch watermark your photos. This means you can select multiple photos at a time and then let the app run your watermark through all of them. This is great for those have to watermark a ton of similar photos (i.e. Etsy seller with lots of different product photos taken in the same way).
4) Ok, this is the big win for me. I can watermark my VIDEOS. Whether it’s a 15-second Instagram video or a 5 minute Facebook tutorial video, there are no worries about my video being shared without my branding.
Getting The Right iWatermark App
Now, there is one confusing thing about this app. Its creator, Plum Amazing Software, has two versions. The blue icon version is the first photo watermarking app I tried when I began creating my marketing visuals with my iPhone. But this app only watermarks photos.
However, they have a yellow icon version that does it all called iWatermark + Watermark. This is the app you want.
Setting Up The iWatermark App
The most time-consuming part about this app is the setup. But once you have your logos customized in the app, you will save so much time and wonder why you didn’t watermark your photos like this before.
Here’s a video tutorial that will show you both iWatermark apps. I made this video before I realized that the iWatermark + Watermark app was really all I needed. So I embedded the video at the point where it shows you how to use only that app. However, if you just want to watermark photos, you can watch the tutorial from the beginning to learn how to use the more basic iWatermark app.
Another Extra Awesome Feature
This app is not just limited to adding your logo to a video. You can also add any image overlay from your camera roll onto your videos. Here’s an example where I grabbed the heart logo from GivingDay.org in Safari and then inserted it into a Ripl video using the iWatermark + Watermark app.
So I hope this helps you save time in branding you smartphone photos and videos. If you’d like to remember this post on my preferred app to watermark photos and videos, then pin this image to your Pinterest account.
