Not comfortable with photo editing but need to brighten photos in your camera roll? Use these two iPhone photo editing tricks in the iOS photos app to brighten your photos and make them pop. Two Tricks To Brighten Photos With iPhone Photos App

1) Choosing the Chroma filter

To do this, select the photo > tap the adjust icon > tap the filter icon > tap Chroma.

You’ll already see a pronounced change with this one filter (although at times it is overkill). But you still need to edit the “temperature” of your photo by either removing some of the yellow tint or blue tint. That leads to the second, more hidden tip:

2) Adjust temperature with the Cast tool

The Cast tool is where you adjust the overall warmth and coolness of your photo. This s great when you have that not-so-pretty yellow tinge to your photos. To access this tool (make sure the photo is still selected), tap the dial icon > tap the down arrow by Color > tap Cast > move the red line to the left to remove yellow from your photos and to the right to remove blue from your photos.
